The Juki brand is a Japanese sewing machine manufacturing brand that has been getting popular in the western area over the recent years. Their line of household sewing machines/ basic sewing machine is simple, fun and creative. The JUKI HZL-27Z Sewing Machine, in particular, is a part mechanical, electronic type (though not so advanced as computerize machines) machine that we are putting under the microscope today. Here is the JUKI HZL-27Z Review.

It is a simple and basic machine. Small and portable, it only weighs 16.65 lbs when packed. The actual unit’s size is 13.9 x 6.1 x 10 inches. It features 22 types of stitches, buttonhole feet and function, a reverse lever and simple needle threader. It also has a LED lighted work area. Unlike more modern machines with a start/ stop button for automatic button, this one is still operated via a foot pedal.

For its price range, it offers more type of stitches than others. Take the brother XM1010 for example, which cost about the same as the Juli HZL-27Z, only have 10 built-in stitch designs. Another score for Juki is the machine’s very light/ minimum noise and vibration even though it has sufficient power. You can put it on the highest speed setting and it will still stay firmly in place in spite of its very lightweight.

So there you have it, I threw in a video below to show you more about this Juki model.
